- DAY 01: NJP/ BAGDOGRA – PHUENTSHOLING 154 KMS / 4HRS DRIVE Meet and greet at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and transfer to Phuentsholing by private AC Vehicle. - DAY 02: IMMIGRATION AT PHUENTSHOLING - THIMPHU 165 KMS / 4.5HRS Drive Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing for Thimphu. Complete the Immigration Formalities. Start for Thimphu with a smooth check-in upon arrival. Along the way, marvel at Gedu Town and Roadside Waterfalls. Pause at Chuzom, where the Paro and Thimphu rivers converge beneath the watchful eyes of four distinct stupa styles, commissioned in the 1960s by the Third King, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, and Ashi Kesang Choden Wangchuck for traveler's safety. Explore the Royal Textile Academy & Museum, showcasing Bhutan's rich weaving traditions through exquisite Silk Kiras and Nettle Fiber cloth displays, celebrating the nation's artistic diversity. Browse the Handicrafts Market for unique local finds and enjoy an outer view of the majestic Tashichho Dzong. Delve into traditional Bhutanese life at the Folk Heritage Museum, set in a 19th-century building. Visit the Takin Reserve to see Bhutan's national animal in a natural setting. - DAY 04: PUNAKHA LOCAL SIGHTSEEING & PARO TRANSFER Half Day Local Sightseeing & 115KMS / 3.5HRS Drive Enjoy your breakfast and proceed for the local sightseeing of Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong,the most beautiful Dzong of the town and Suspension bridge-the longest hanging bridge of Bhutan. You can enjoy the river rafting (costing approximately INR 8,000 to 10,000 per boat, accommodating up to 8 people). After lunch transfer to Paro, tracing the scenic Wang (Chhu) River and Paro (Chhu) River Valleys, and heading north through Paro Town. - DAY 05: EXCURSION & TREKKING TO TIGER NEST 12KMS / 30MIN Drive & 5-6HRS Trekking Embark on a trek to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger Nest), a UNESCO World Heritage site, after breakfast. The journey to this cliffside sanctuary takes about 3 hours uphill and 2 hours to return. For those preferring a gentler ascent, ponies can be hired up to the cafeteria. - DAY 06: PARO LOCAL SIGHTSEEING & PHUENTSHOLING TRANSFER Full day sightseeing & 165KMS / 4.5HRS Drive In Paro, start with the breathtaking Paro Airport View from Paro Airport Bird's Eye View Point, celebrated as one of the world's most beautiful airports and Bhutan’s sole international gateway. Next, explore the National Museum of Bhutan, housed in an ancient Watchtower. This museum showcases Bhutanese culture through artifacts, traditional costumes, weaponry, and daily life implements. Wander down to Rinpung Dzong, the "Fortress of The Heap of Jewels," adorned with exquisite wall paintings depicting Buddhist teachings and history. Cap off your day with a visit to Paro Market for unique souvenirs and an optional photo session in Bhutanese attire by the Paro River (at your own cost). After lunch transfer to Phuentsholing & overnight stay.
